6 WAYS TO MAKE MONEY BLOGGING

how to make money blogging

6 Ways to Make Money Blogging

If you don’t know already, blogging is a legitimate way to make money online. And you will be learning about the 6 things you can do to make money blogging. These things are very "doable" and they are what you should get involved in if you are really considering making money from blogging. I like blogging and I know many bloggers in Nigeria who feel the same. If you feel the same way and you want to make more money from what you like, let’s talk about making money blogging and what it really means.

Blogging is something that requires patience, consistency, and discipline. It may mean publishing great contents every day for over a year before you really start to make any money from it. I know that there are exceptions to this. However, most Nigerians I have come across seems to spend one, two or more years building their blogs, brand, and authority, before making any serious amount of money from the blog.

1. Affiliates

There are many affiliate networks you can join as a Nigerian which allows you to promote other people’s products and services while you get paid commission for every sale you generate. You simply put a link (affiliate link) or a banner (with your affiliate link) strategically on your blog and then get your readers to click through and buy the product/service. To make the most of this, it is best you select products that are related to blog’s contents. Examples of affiliate networks/programs you can join are the 160+ Affiliate Programs that Pay Recurring Commissions, others are jumia, konga and NiaraBET.

2. Advertising

This is definitely the oldest way of making money with a blog. Some bloggers are starting to say that Blog Ads is not the best way to make money blogging. However, there are lots of brands still looking for blogs to advertise on. You can sell banner or text advertising space directly on your blog or you can sign up with a program like Google AdSense(content is key) or MediaNet. Either way, you won’t make a whole lot of money from the ads if you are not getting enough quantity and quality traffic to your blog every day, so build more on your daily or weekly views then look for company that will like to buy an ads space in your blog.

3. Paid Membership

One more advanced way to make money blogging is to setup membership area for your blog. Many people have created a paid membership area on their blog. This is typically for exclusive or premium content that your premium members can only access the member’s area. You will need to create the membership area and then add things that can’t easily be accessed from the web for your premium members. There are both free and paid membership plugins or script you can get and then set up a membership area for your blog. As a Nigerian, it safe to create membership area where people can pay for with online payment tools for Nigerians such as InterSwitch.

4. Create your own Products

You can create your own products (e.g. ebooks, audios, videos, software etc) and then use your blog as a promotion tool to get people to buy your product. Lots of information marketers in Nigeria do this already. You too can as long as you create legitimate products that offer a whole lot of value to your buyers. You would be able to buyers if your product is what your blog readers/visitors want. This is why you need to make sure your product is what people will buy – it must be valuable and useful to them, atleast you can't expect me to use my money to buy something that's not worth it.

5. Sponsored Posts

Sponsored posts are basically posts you write about a brand, product or service which you get paid for to publish on your own blog. An individual or a company will pay you to publish an article about them or their product/service on your blog. You will write these in a form of review and get your readers to read and take action by making use of the product or service you reviewed. Sponsored posts is a way to go, you can get an idea from “Sponsor a Post on Make Money Online Nigeria”

6. Paid Services

In addition to products, you should offer paid services (e.g. coaching, training, maintenance, teaching, planning etc) and then use your blog to promote your own services. You are basically using your blog to sell yourself. You’ll need to convince people that you’re worth buying and then be able to back up your claims once they purchase your service. Make sure you investigate all the legal implications and also make sure you’re not claiming to be a professional if you’re not one. If you do, people will expect a professional service from you and if your service isn’t professional, you will lose credibility and people will label you a scammer, am sure you don't want to be termed that.

If you’re truly interested in becoming a money making blogger, you should start by looking through already money making blogs. It may take you time to read everything on our archive, but it will be worth it. You’ll practically become a better money making blogger.

In conclusion, I need you to know that you will need a lot of traffic to your blog before you start making lots of money blogging. You should start now and work your way up the different levels of bloggers in Nigeria and don't forget that there are lots of bloggers out there, so do something exceptional and captivating it sells.

How to track your vehicle on the cheap, using your smartphone?

New tracking method adapted to all budgets.

Lost your car and can’t remember where you parked? It happens to the best of us: wandering aimlessly through parking lots, clicking the panic button on your key chain to get your headlights to illuminate.
You don’t need some spendy radio transponder to keep tabs on your car. Uplinking your wheels to the great eye in the sky without breaking the bank is easier than you think.
Standalone GPS and radio triangulation units can cost hundreds. And that’s not counting the installation and (frequently hefty) activation and monthly fees associated with whatever service you do choose. For most of us, it’s overkill.
The good news is that some of life’s biggest problems seem to be disappearing because of new technology.. If you frequently forget where you parked your car, there is a tiny gadget and app that could be what you’re looking for.

What is it about?

It’s about Trackr, A small and discreet device the size of a coin that is revolutionizing the market..

But… How does it work?

Very easy! It will take less than five minutes to put it to work. You simply have to pair it with your smartphone and download the free application which will allow you to locate it anytime.
Once this is done, you simply have to put it on your key chain, in your wallet or in any object you want to locate always. In this case you just have to hide it in your car.

Now just have to open the application on your mobile and you can see on the map the position of your device. If you get to lose your car, simply select “find device” and you’ll get the coordinates of the new location.

With Trackr you’ll be able to locate your car at any time.

How much is it going to cost me?

You’re probably thinking that this device will be very expensive…. nope. This is the best part, you can acquire one for so little, the price is about 27$. Not bad considering it gives peace of mind.

How to buy it?

That’s easy, you can buy it from the website.

Other functions

Do you often forget your wallet? Forget where you left your keys? Or want to prevent your pet from escaping? With Trackr you can also track your personal belongings, just simply attach it to anything you consider important for you or easy to lose, you link it to your Smartphone (with the Trackr application) and you will find what you lost, it’s that easy!

Detailed instructions on how to use Trackr

Now that you are aware of the potential of this curious device, we will make a brief summary to clear all your doubts:
  • Step 1: Get Trackr Bravo from this website,, you’ll get it delivered to your home in about 1 week.

Iphone 7 & Iphone 7 Plus Specifications, Price & Images

So guys, technology giants Apple finally launched the much awaited iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus with all their specifications and price.

At a special event in San Francisco on Wednesday 7th September , Apple unveiled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones. The iPhone 7 specifications were not the best kept secrets, because weeks back we had leaked images and specs of the iPhone 7 here. These leaks and rumors were hardly able to tell the whole iPhone 7 story.

New iphone 7 features

The most eye catching features of the iPhone 7 are the camera upgrade, a new home button and the removal of the 3.5mm headphone as anticipated in the leaks

The headphones

One of the strangest decisions was to completely do away with the headphone jack or port, what you get instead is a pair of Lightning EarPods which connect via the charging port, and Apple's wireless AirPods, powered by a W1 chip. The Infared sensors detect when you put the pod in your ear, while motion sensors control the headphones to use Siri and detect your voice. Cool right?

The camera

The camera of the iPhone 7 was also upgraded to take better pictures in low light conditions, a
new 12MP sensor that's 60 per cent faster and 30 per cent more energy efficient.

The iPhone 7 plus version comes with dual rear cameras. This would give increased quality when zooming a photo, this has been a problem for Apple for some time. The iPhone 7 plus has two 12MP cameras, one of which is a wide angle lens and the other a telephoto lens that can zoom 2X in high quality without using any software.
The secondary camera has been upgraded to a 7MP from the 5MP it has been for selfies.

The home button

The home button has been given a vibration-based taptic feedback system so it now vibrates when touched to give users feedback. The feature is already in use on the firm's MacBook laptops. It's also has the antenna bands moved to the edges form the sides as is the norm. This was talked about in the leaks, in an earlier post.

So with the major new features of the iPhone 7 stated we can go to the full specifications of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus.
